Description
A beautifully heavyweight, vintage Ukrainian throw from the 1950s.
Made with hand-spun and hand-woven wool (most probably goat hair) and flax linen.
Really amazing quality and condition – the blanket looks to be unused. It will only get better with use, as it softens and becomes more supple.
Deep chocolate brown and cream check weave with a selvedge and a central hand-sewn seam running down the middle.
Dimensions: approx 130cm x 240cm.
