Description

Hand made mid century style oak stools with upholstered seat pads have been designed by Homeward Studio and made for us by cabinet maker Jacob Littlejones Furniture using locally felled and seasoned Staffordshire Oak.

These hand made solid oak stools with 4 turned and tapered legs have upholstered seat pads that are ideal to rest your feet upon, are equally useful as an occasional spare seat and with the nice dense foam they ‘re firm enough to have chair side to rest a cup and book.

Thorody’s hand screen printed linen for this stool is a precise hand drawn design. We have been long time fans of their work and used their cloth on numerous bespoke upholstery commissions we find their designs a perfect choice for our stools. A truly special cloth, carefully sourced natural Belgian flax linen of the best quality, hand screen printed in the UK . If you look closely there’s a slight wobble to the line, that’s because the designs all started as hand drawings and are all the better for it! They are a firm favourite here at Homeward.

They measure approx 37cm high and the oval top measures 38cm x 27cm and the pad is approx 8cm deep.
