Kim Ford is a potter living in rural Warwickshire producing pots with slip, textures and ash glazes. The pots are tactile, visually appealing and pleasing to use. Materials for glazes, slips and firing are sourced locally if possible. The kiln is fired up to four times a year, a typical firing takes between 12-18 hours.

Slip is applied by brush to the surfaces which is then left as it is or partially removed, using rubber kidneys or coarse homemade natural fibre brushes to produce the finished surface.
